welcome to my garden
It's a beautiful day today ... just perfect ... the morning was warm and dry enough for gardening ... then early afternoon was hot enough to appreciate the summer ... late afternoon gave us a heavy rain and thunderstorm forcing me onto the porch with freshly juiced garden cucumbers, tomatoes, a shallot and herbs ( lemon balm and thyme) and a homemade carrot and zuchinni muffin. If you haven't tried this fresh juice combination, I hope you will ... it's so good and very healthy. Anything homemade is good to me :) ... although I wish I had a better carrot and zuchinni muffin/bread recipe.
Wishing you a safe and happy weekend!

I can just imagine how you day went and I love your beautiful garden, must give you such enjoyment! We have a juicer but usually use melons, apples, oranges... etc. the sweet fruits!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely day Susanne and thanks for your prayers!
You must have great enjoyment from your garden Susanne it looks loved but carefree, unfortunately I can not tolerate the natural salicitates in fresh Toms, but I love cucumbers.
ReplyDeleteSmiles:)
Your garden is so beautiful - I love the morning glories (!!) and the cosmos. Well, really , I love all flowers and hate to see summer end. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous photos, Susanne!
ReplyDeleteSome beautiful pictures from an obviously very beautiful garden!
ReplyDeleteI didn´t forget, that you asked for some of mine, but I didn´t have the time to upload them by now... but I will :-)
Look at your beautiful garden! Here ours has nothing blooming but the beginnings of our morning glories (the ones that the groundhog didn't eat) and a solitary lavendar stem......the rest looks like a jungle. Thank you so much, Susanne, for posting these throughout the year - I so enjoy them! Have you ever made gazpacho? It's really just chunky vegie juice! We thoroughly enjoyed our one batch this year (tomatoes also took a beating from that same groundhog!)
ReplyDeleteWhat a vibrant yet peaceful place you have created for yourself Susanne
ReplyDeleteI just love your photos of your beautiful garden, and then to hear you saying you are juicing vegetables and eating lovely carrot & zucchini muffins, it makes me want to be more healthy! My problem is I cannot tolerate anything sour, tart, or just plain not sweet! So the muffin would go down very well, but I am afraid, not the juice!
ReplyDeleteYour garden is full of beauty and your juicy creations sound fabulous too !
ReplyDeletelove and hugs
