Glue Book - page two

I quite enjoy creating these glue book pages ... playing with different papers and textures...a few  words and images ..
I used torn images from books I found at the second hand shop, a piece of Tim Holtz paper and a butterfly from Hero Arts.

A bit of romantic music for you ... Diana Krall sings 'Love Letters'.
Diana is a jazz pianist from British Colombia, Canada
... I could listen to her all evening

Thank you for visiting. Please take care and have a safe day.

Gluebook / page1

I fell in love with Mary Green's gluebooks earlier this year when I first came across her blog
Green Paper. I was very inspired to try a page myself after seeing her beautiful work and tutorial
at Gingersnap Creations.  My images are from used books I found in the second hand shop ... the rose is from my scrap box ... the rose stamp is from Hero Arts.

Thanks so much for stopping by. Sending you warm wishes.

Sycamore and Canadian Maple - The Credit River Ontario

Sharing a little bit of Canada with you today ...
I grew up listen to and loving music from Canadian singer/songwriter Gordon Lightfoot.
Johnny Cash, Glen Campbell, Elvis Presley, Barbara Streisand and many other performers sang his songs.  Sharing the beautiful song 'Softly' with you ... this is from a 1969 clip of the Johnny Cash Show.  Gordon Lightfoot is from Orillia Ontario.
I so hope that you enjoy this ...

Autumn, The Credit River Ontario

Thanksgiving weekend was beautiful here.  Perfect weather for walking ... a warm sun with a lovely breeze ... gorgeous Autumn colours  ... Harvest Moon ...

My DH and I were in a local cafe on the weekend having a freshly brewed spiced coffee when they played Neil Young's Harvest Moon ...  ohhh how I love this song so I thought I would share it with you.  Neil Young is Canadian, born in Toronto.   I think you're going to enjoy this ... (so romantic)
