Inspired by Dinah Washington's Embraceable You.
Two cards inspired by Dinah Washington's Embraceable You. One of my father's very favourite jazz singers. My brothers and I grew up listening to my father's jazz and classical music. We never really thought much of it until we left home and realized that it became very much a part of us. The image used on je t'aime is from Cemerony. The second image is from Graphic Fairy.
I'm so happy that the weekend is here ... I hope it's sunny and warm ... however if it rains all weekend .... that means I'll have to stay in and make cards ... ; ) !
Enjoy your weekend!

I grew up with classical music, and it stuck, too! I did the same with our boys.......
ReplyDeleteLOVE these cards, Susanne! What a nice memorial to your Dad!
Beautiful cards, Susanne! Lovely, soft colors and wonderful texture! I know what you mean. Before I started making cards, I never wanted it to rain. Now, I don't mind. :) Hugs to you!
ReplyDeleteThis is lovely, I love the powder rose tint you gave the first one.
ReplyDeleteDinah Washington is great. I often listen to the old jazz, swing and soul minstrels too.
