... early each morning .. I have many little visitors hoping to find something that they enjoy.
Sometimes I chop up a piece of an apple and mix it with a little bread for the cardinals.

Heart Journal 2012

..if only time would stand still ...  For the month of May, our project was to create a heart using aluminum foil, gesso and acrylic paints. I embossed the foil, painted on gesso then polished to reveal the relief of the paisley pattern. I splashed on layers of alcohol inks 'here and there' and embellished with a small amount of stickles.

Thank you Thealie and Libellule for this wonderful challenge. It's so nice to see our Heart Journal grow as the months go by . My apologies again as I was a little late submitting this. 

I'm looking forward to starting our next challange for June!

Dance by the Light of the Moon ~ Inspired by Jacqueline

I was asked to make another card that would hold over 110 signatures for a co-worker who is retiring. I wanted to make something a little different from the accordian book I made last time .. I was so inspired by Jacqueline's beautiful 'home decor' artwork that I created this card holding many pages for signatures, put together using the Japanese stab binding technique.
